Welcome To Room 206 at West Central Elementary!
Dear Parents/Guardians:
It is my privilege to have the opportunity to educate your child this school year. I have a true passion for children and sincerely enjoy my job of positively impacting their lives. To the left you will find important links you may want to access throughout the school year. As your child's 5th grade teacher, I hold high expectations for my students and expect them to do well. I will push your child to his/her potential and ask your support in doing the same. I encourage open two-way communication with myself and your child, so that TOGETHER we can make him/her successful. Please do not hesitate to contact me by email or by phone during my planning periods. Those times are listed below: Monday 12:25 - 1:05 Tuesday 1:55 - 2:45 Wednesday 1:45 - 2:25 Thursday 7:45 - 8:25 Friday 7:45 - 8:25 In addition, your child as a unique opportunity to be in an eMINTs classroom this year. We have one computer to every two students in our classroom. Students will be encouraged to use critical thinking skills to solve real-world problems. As a classroom, we will strive to build a positive, safe learning environment through community builders and cooperative learning. Your child will work in teams on several projects, but will also be asked to do several independent research projects. Overall, your child's eMINTS experience should be rewarding! Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns throughout the school year. TOGETHER we will work to see that your child reaches his/her full potential and has a successful 5th grade school year. Thank you in advance for all of your support and encouragement for your child! |
